Skylar Griggs, MS, RDN, LDN
Registered Dietitian, Founder & CEO
Skylar Griggs is a licensed registered dietitian and nutrition counselor specializing in a variety of nutrition-related conditions. Skylar has experience working in pediatric and family nutrition as well as pre/post-natal nutrition, eating disorders, weight management, cardiac risk factors including hypertension, high cholesterol and obesity, diabetes, and peri/post menopause. Skylar is presently a senior dietitian with the preventive cardiology division at Boston Children’s Hospital, the teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School. Skylar’s previous work includes lead outpatient dietitian for the Renfrew Center of New Jersey, an outpatient center for women with eating disorders as well as the outpatient nutritionist for Pediatric Plus Medical Group in Queens, New York.
In addition to working with clients, Skylar is a lecturer, consultant, spokesperson, and media contributor. Skylar is the nutrition news contributor for Fox25 News Boston. Additionally, Skylar is also a nutrition contributor for Boston Magazine Online. Skylar also provides corporate nutrition consulting for a number of companies including SavingStar Supermarkets. Skylar’s personal blog Newbury Street Nutrition® offers nutrition and meal tips for busy individuals and families on the go.
Skylar received her undergraduate degree in Dietetics from Syracuse University and then went on to complete her dietetic fellowship at the Bronx Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Concurrent to her internship, Skylar completed her Masters of Science in Clinical Nutrition from New York University. Skylar is an active member of the American Dietetic Association, the previous Membership Chair of the Greater New York Dietetic Association and a member of the Massachusetts Dietetic Association.
Coco Ocker, MS, RDN, LDN
Coco is a licensed registered dietitian with a passion for helping people achieve their health and wellness goals. She completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s of Nutrition Science at Boston University and her clinical internship rotations at Boston Medical Center. She has additional experience working with clients on the management of high cholesterol, hypertension, metabolic associated liver disease, and weight loss. Coco concurrently works in Preventative Cardiology and Bariatric weight loss surgery in the outpatient setting at Boston Children’s Hospital.
Coco’s approach to nutrition is rooted in science, yet always accommodating to your lifestyle needs. She works with her clients to create individualized nutrition plans that are both achievable and sustainable. Coco is passionate about helping people become the happiest, healthiest, and most confident versions of themselves. She believes that everyone has the potential to live a healthy life, and she is committed to helping her clients reach their full potential.
Alyssa Costantino, MS, RDN, LDN
Alyssa Costantino is a licensed Registered Dietitian, dedicated to providing top tier, evidenced based and sustainable nutrition therapy. She completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s in Nutrition and Human Performance at Merrimack College, serving as a Graduate Ambassador on behalf of the program. During her training, she gained extensive experience working in various settings including hospitals, clinical research facilities, health and fitness centers, and community outreach organizations, while attending a program specializing in fitness and athletic performance.
Alyssa currently works as a Registered Dietitian at Executive Health and Sports Center in Manchester, New Hampshire, and has been on staff with NSN as a Nutrition Associate since 2023. As a Dietitian, Alyssa’s 1:1 client sessions involve conducting nutritional assessments, interpreting laboratory values, body composition, health and fitness measurements, and tracking dietary intake to develop personalized nutrition plans, to individuals with a wide range of health conditions.
With a compassionate and client centered approach, Alyssa is a strong believer in the importance of not only nutrition and physical activity but also mental wellbeing as part of holistic healthcare. This belief is central to her practice, as she aims to provide the partnership and guidance needed to bridge the gap between your nutritional practices and your individualized healthcare needs.
Anna Maynes, RDN, LDN
Anna Maynes is a licensed registered dietitian with experience working across the lifespan from infants to older adults. Anna specializes in cholesterol and blood pressure management, weight management and general wellness for adults. She also has vast experience working with the pediatric population on picky eating, infant feeding, failure to thrive, weight management, general wellness and more. She has nearly 10 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian with over 8 of those years being involved in pediatric care. She is currently working as a Clinical Nutrition Specialist with the cardiology division at Boston Children’s Hospital. Annacompleted her undergraduate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst where she went on to complete her Dietetic internship with some additional tailored emphasis in pediatric care.
Anna excels at providing client centered care and making the people that she works with feel empowered to make positive lifestyle changes. She provides evidence based care while remaining personable and passionate. From a pediatric perspective, she thrives at making children and adolescents feel heard with her empathetic, caring demeanor. She loves watching the people who she works with gain confidence as they work towards their personal nutrition goals.
Julie Hersey, MS, RDN
Julie is a licensed registered dietitian with a passion for helping people manage their diets in the setting of chronic disease and digestive issues. She has additional experience working with clients on the management of weight and stabilizing blood sugar. Julie attributes her love for food and wellness to her Greek heritage and belief in the power of food. Julie completed her Bachelor’s of Nutrition Science at Syracuse University (a classmate of Skylar’s, go Orange!), and Master’s of Science in Allied Health Science and clinical internship at Hartford Hospital. Julie was the lead dietitian at Stop & Shop supermarkets prior to coming to NSN and has experience in private consulting, community food assistance programs and kids food education. She has advanced training in health promotion & education, mental health first aid, gerontology, retail nutrition and public media. In her down time Julie enjoys exploring the best of New England with her husband and three happy kids.
